Utilizing a robust econometric framework, including time-series analysis and panel data regression, we analyze trade flow data from 2000 to 2022 across multiple economies. The findings reveal significant variations in the responsiveness of different countries to policy changes, with the most notable efficiency gains observed in nations adopting proactive trade agreements. The implications for policymakers suggest that tailored approaches to trade policy can enhance economic resilience and equip nations to better absorb external shocks. This study contributes to the ongoing discourse on global economics by evaluating the real-world applicability of theoretical models in predicting trade responses. These insights are critical as we approach 2026, with the evolving economic landscape demanding innovative trade strategies.
2024-07-17T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2024 Global Economics Reviewhttps://lumoscia.com/index.php/ger/article/view/661Financial Inclusion and Economic Development2026-06-05T12:03:07+03:00Rowan Wilsonadmin@admin.comJesse Robertsadmin@admin.comCameron Jacksonadmin@admin.com
This study explores the role of financial inclusion in fostering economic development. This study employs a panel cointegration approach across 47 OECD and emerging market economies (2000–2023), augmenting the standard growth accounting framework with proprietary intangible capital proxies derived from harmonized national accounts. Our findings reveal a statistically significant divergence between conventionally estimated total factor productivity and adjusted productivity indices that incorporate organizational capital, knowledge stocks, and data-as-an-asset classifications. The results indicate that secular stagnation narratives are partly artifacts of measurement misspecification rather than genuine productivity exhaustion, with intangible-adjusted TFP recovering approximately 31% of the so-called "missing growth." Policy implications for capital taxation, R&D incentive architecture, and national accounting reform are discussed.
2024-07-17T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2024 Global Economics Reviewhttps://lumoscia.com/index.php/ger/article/view/522Cryptocurrency and the Future of Global Finance2026-04-27T16:38:05+03:00Harry Halladmin@admin.comCasey Jonesadmin@admin.comSkyler Parkeradmin@admin.com
This article investigates the rise of cryptocurrency and its potential impact on global finance. This study develops a stochastic dynamic fiscal space quantification framework that integrates interest rate shock propagation, debt sustainability thresholds, and primary balance adjustment paths. Employing a panel dataset of 47 EMEs spanning 2005–2023, combined with a Bayesian Vector Autoregression (BVAR) model and Monte Carlo debt trajectory simulations, the analysis identifies nonlinear tipping points at which debt servicing costs crowd out productive public investment. Empirical results confirm that fiscal consolidation alone is insufficient without concurrent exchange rate stabilization mechanisms and concessional refinancing facilities. The framework offers a replicable policy tool for multilateral institutions and finance ministries to calibrate debt restructuring interventions with greater temporal precision.
2024-07-17T00:00:00+03:00Copyright (c) 2024 Global Economics Reviewhttps://lumoscia.com/index.php/ger/article/view/523Impact of Globalization on Emerging Economies2026-04-27T16:42:38+03:00Chris Milleradmin@admin.comAshley Edwardsadmin@admin.comKim Gonzalezadmin@admin.com
This article examines the multifaceted impact of globalization on emerging economies.
