Cybersecurity Threats in the Age of Internet of Things

Abstract

This article explores cybersecurity vulnerabilities introduced by the burgeoning Internet of Things (IoT). As IoT devices proliferate, so do the points of attack. The paper reviews common vulnerabilities, such as weak authentication and unsecured network connections, offering insights into emerging threats and strategies for enhancing IoT security. Case studies from smart home and industrial IoT applications highlight the critical need for robust security frameworks.
