As autonomous vehicles become increasingly prevalent, the ethical considerations surrounding their deployment demand urgent attention. This paper examines the moral frameworks applicable to decision-making algorithms in self-driving cars. By reviewing case studies and theoretical models, we assess the impact of artificial intelligence on road safety, legal responsibility, and public trust. Our findings suggest that incorporating ethical machine learning models is crucial to addressing dilemmas such as the trolley problem. The study fosters a deeper understanding of the ethical landscape shaped by AI and contributes to policy formulation for safe and equitable transportation innovations.
