Abstract

Telemedicine has emerged as a crucial component of modern healthcare, especially in enhancing access to medical services in remote and underserved areas. This article reviews the growth of telehealth technologies and their impact on patient care. It highlights the benefits of virtual consultations, remote monitoring, and mobile health applications in improving healthcare delivery. The challenges faced in the widespread adoption of telemedicine, such as technology access and regulatory issues, are discussed, alongside strategies to overcome them.
