Abstract

Cytokine Release Syndrome (CRS) is a significant complication arising during Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy. This study presents an empirical analysis of CRS in pediatric patients undergoing CAR-T therapy for B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Data drawn from clinical trials at a leading oncology institution were analyzed to assess the incidence, severity, and management protocols for CRS. Our findings suggest that enhanced interleukin-6 and interleukin-1 blockade protocols significantly mitigate CRS symptoms, leading to improved patient outcomes. The conclusive results offer insight into optimizing CAR-T therapy protocols to ensure maximum efficacy with minimal adverse effects.
