Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Articles
Global Economics Review publishes high-quality research that advances the understanding of global economic systems, financial dynamics, and policy frameworks. The journal welcomes empirical studies, theoretical developments, comprehensive reviews, and practical case studies that contribute to the advancement of international and regional economic knowledge.
Empirical Articles – Original research following the IMRAD structure, including econometric analyses, cross-country comparisons, policy evaluations, and quantitative or qualitative economic studies. Submissions should provide new insights into trade, development, finance, innovation, or macroeconomic performance.
Theoretical Articles – Conceptual or analytical works that propose innovative economic models, policy frameworks, or theoretical interpretations. These papers should expand current understanding of global markets, institutional behavior, and socio-economic interdependence.
Review Articles – Systematic or narrative reviews synthesizing current knowledge in economics and related disciplines. Reviews should identify key research gaps, analyze emerging trends in economic theory and practice, and discuss implications for policy, regulation, and global development.
Case Studies – Detailed examinations of specific economic policies, regional development programs, or organizational strategies. Case studies should emphasize empirical context, methodological approach, policy impact, and lessons applicable to broader economic practice.
