This study investigates the implications of digital currency adoption on the growth trajectories of small businesses within the Southeast Asian e-commerce landscape. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, we conducted extensive surveys and semi-structured interviews with business owners, coupled with a rigorous econometric analysis to quantify growth metrics. Our findings reveal that businesses that integrated digital currencies reported a 30% increase in customer base and a 25% rise in revenue compared to those that did not. These insights highlight the transformative potential of digital currencies in enhancing financial accessibility and operational efficiency. Furthermore, we identify critical challenges such as volatility and regulatory uncertainties that need to be addressed to fully harness these benefits. Overall, our research provides a nuanced understanding of how digital currencies can serve as catalysts for small business growth in evolving economic environments.
