Abstract

This article delves into the economics of Universal Basic Income (UBI) by examining various trials and their outcomes globally. The authors analyze the fiscal implications of UBI on national economies, including the challenges and benefits of implementation. The study provides insights into how UBI affects labor markets, social welfare systems, and economic inequality. By comparing case studies from Finland, Canada, and India, the paper discusses diverse approaches to UBI and their socio-economic impacts. The authors conclude with policy recommendations for future UBI initiatives.
