Abstract

This article explores the role of mobile banking in driving financial inclusion in South Asia. The authors examine how mobile financial services have expanded access to banking for underserved populations. By analyzing case studies from India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, the paper evaluates the impact on economic development and poverty reduction. The research also discusses technological barriers and regulatory challenges. The study concludes with recommendations to enhance mobile banking initiatives and their effectiveness in achieving broader financial inclusion goals in the region.
