Abstract

This study investigates the role of urban agriculture policies in enhancing food security within megacities. Analyzing examples from Mexico City, Lagos, and Jakarta, it identifies policy measures that support urban farming initiatives and their impact on local food systems. The article explores the challenges of policy implementation, including land use, resource allocation, and community participation. By evaluating these policies, the study offers recommendations for integrating urban agriculture into broader urban planning and governance frameworks.
