Abstract

This article examines the impact of governmental policies on the adoption and implementation of renewable energy sources in Brazil. With a focus on legislative frameworks and financial incentives, it assesses the effectiveness of current policies in promoting sustainable energy solutions. The study analyzes data from recent government reports and interviews with energy sector stakeholders, providing insights into the challenges and successes of policy-driven energy transitions. By exploring case studies from various regions in Brazil, it offers a comprehensive overview of how policy interventions can facilitate or hinder the growth of renewable energy infrastructure. Recommendations for policy enhancements are provided to optimize the national energy strategy.
