The Role of Sleep in Treating Major Depressive Disorder

This study investigates the role of sleep regulation as a therapeutic tool for Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Conducted with 300 MDD patients undergoing controlled sleep interventions, the research analyzes sleep patterns, circadian rhythms, and mood improvements. Results indicate that structured sleep schedules contribute significantly to reducing depressive symptoms, offering new insights into non-pharmacological treatment options for MDD.
