Abstract

This meta-analysis evaluates the effectiveness of virtual reality (VR) technology in the treatment of various phobias. Analyzing data from multiple studies, this paper underscores VR's potential to simulate environments that trigger phobic responses and aid in exposure therapy. The results indicate a consistent reduction in phobic symptoms, emphasizing VR as an innovative tool in clinical psychology. The paper also discusses challenges and future directions for VR integration in therapeutic settings.
