Abstract

This study investigates the effects of mindfulness-based therapy on veterans diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Utilizing a randomized control trial method, our research compares symptom reduction in veterans undergoing mindfulness interventions versus traditional therapeutic approaches. Results highlight significant improvements in those engaged with mindfulness practices, suggesting potential benefits for broader PTSD treatment protocols. Further, the study considers cultural and environmental factors influencing therapy outcomes across diverse veteran populations.
