Abstract

This article investigates the role of social media in adolescent identity formation, focusing on both positive and negative impacts. By reviewing current literature and conducting interviews with adolescents from the United States, we provide insights into how social platforms shape self-perception and interpersonal relationships. Our study offers recommendations for educators and parents.
