Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Articles

Journal of Physics Research publishes high-quality research, theoretical developments, experimental studies, and review articles across all major fields of physics. The journal welcomes contributions that advance the understanding of fundamental physical laws, materials, energy systems, and applied technologies in modern science.

Experimental Research Articles – Original studies following the IMRAD structure, based on laboratory experiments, measurements, observational data, or instrument-based investigations. Submissions must present clear methodology, data analysis, and interpretation of results within a relevant physical framework.

Theoretical Articles – Studies focused on mathematical modeling, physical theory development, analytical derivations, and new conceptual frameworks. These articles should extend, refine, or reinterpret theoretical models relevant to contemporary physics.

Review Articles – Comprehensive or systematic reviews synthesizing existing research, trends, challenges, and future directions in specific areas of physics. Reviews should critically evaluate current knowledge and identify key questions for further scientific development.

Case Studies / Applied Physics Reports – Application-focused research describing the implementation of physical principles in technology, engineering, material science, medical physics, or energy systems. Case studies should clearly present context, problem definition, solution approach, evaluation, and real-world implications.
