Abstract

In recent years, the global pharmaceutical sector has faced unparalleled challenges, particularly highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews, to explore the strategic decision-making processes within resilient supply chains. By analyzing data collected from 150 supply chain managers across various pharmaceutical companies, significant findings reveal that adaptive decision-making frameworks positively impact supply chain resilience and operational efficiency. Notably, the quantitative data indicated a 25% increase in efficiency among companies utilizing strategic foresight techniques compared to traditional methodologies. Qualitative insights revealed that collaboration and real-time data sharing were pivotal in navigating disruptions. These results underscore the importance of strategic agility and resilience in supply chain management, offering actionable insights for industry practitioners and policymakers.
