In the contemporary retail landscape, rapid market fluctuations necessitate adaptive strategic decision-making. This study investigates the dynamics of decision-making processes within supply chains under conditions of high uncertainty, utilizing data from a leading retail chain. Employing a mixed-methods approach, we combined qualitative interviews with quantitative performance metrics to derive insights into effective adaptations in strategy. Our findings reveal that firms employing real-time data analytics significantly enhance responsiveness and resilience. Specifically, our results indicate a 20% improvement in operational efficiency and a 15% reduction in lead times when adaptive strategies are implemented. This research contributes to the field by elucidating a framework that integrates strategic agility with operational clarity, addressing a significant gap in the literature on supply chain responsiveness in volatile markets.
