Abstract

This study investigates the efficacy of resource allocation strategies in agile and traditional project management frameworks. Employing a mixed-methods approach, we conducted quantitative analyses of project outcomes across 150 projects and complemented these findings with qualitative interviews from project managers. Our findings reveal significant differences in the effectiveness of resource allocation strategies, with agile frameworks demonstrating superior adaptability and resource utilization efficiency. This research contributes to the strategic management literature by providing empirical evidence that supports the adoption of agile methodologies in dynamic project environments. The study concludes with recommendations for practitioners on optimizing resource allocation strategies tailored to specific project management contexts.
