Abstract

This study explores the cognitive mechanisms underpinning language evolution. By analyzing cross-cultural linguistic data, we highlight the role of cognition in shaping language structures. Our findings suggest that cognitive processes significantly influence the evolution of language, providing insights into the universal patterns of linguistic change. This research contributes to the understanding of how cognitive functions drive linguistic innovation and diversification across different cultures.
