Abstract

The shift to remote learning has spotlighted significant barriers to educational equity, particularly in under-resourced areas. This study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys of 1,200 students and qualitative interviews with 50 educators in diverse socio-economic contexts. Findings reveal that 72% of students faced technological access challenges, while 65% reported inadequate instructional support. Utilizing regression analysis, we identified that perceived barriers significantly correlated with student achievement metrics (p<0.01). This research underscores the urgent need for targeted interventions to bridge the digital divide and enhance educational accessibility. The implications for policy formulation and practical educational strategies are discussed, providing a roadmap for future initiatives aimed at mitigating these disparities.
